Sustainable & ethical organic garments
We source our organic t-shirts and hoodies from three main suppliers. We’ve carefully chosen these companies for their excellent environmental and ethical credentials. They all use sustainably produced organic cotton and manufacture garments in factories with ethical policies that ensure a fair living wage and safe working environments for their employees.
EarthPositive® - Organic and ethically made, these garments are manufactured solely using sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power.

Solvent free water-based ink
Since we started screen printing over ten years ago we’ve only printed with Permaset water-based inks. Most screen printers use plastisol inks or discharge inks, both contain toxic chemicals, and require the use of even more chemicals when cleaning the ink from the screens. As our inks are water-based we can clean our screens using only water.
Permaset inks don’t contain any toxic chemicals, no PVC, phthalates, ozone depleting chemicals, lead or any heavy metals. Permaset inks passed the Oekotex Class 1 standard with 60% to spare, so they are safe to use on baby clothes and underwear.
We think Permaset is the best option, especially if printing on to organic cotton garments.
Vegan friendly t-shirt printing
We only print with Permaset inks in our studio, no animal products or animal by-products are used in the making of these inks, and they aren’t tested on animals.
The full Stanley/Stella clothing range is 100% PETA approved vegan. This means they don’t conduct or commission any animal testing on ingredients, formulations or finished products, and their apparel is made from 100% vegan materials. Continetal’s EarthPositive range is also PETA approved Vegan.
